For example, â€Å"The Aeneid† begins after the Trojan War, when the Trojan fleet was heading toward Italy. â€Å"The Iliad† is similar by beginning nine years into the Trojan War. The use of medias res in both text foreshadow the end results. In â€Å"The Aeneid† the defeated Trojan fleet heading to Italy shows that the Trojans lost the war. Homer begins the â€Å"The Iliad† with Agamemnon taking Briseis, Achilles’ slave girl, setting up the battle that rages through out the epic between Agamemnon and Achilles. â€Å"The Song of Roland† also uses medias res by starting in the middle. The organizational leaders, such as CEO needs to develop and implement unique strategies in order to ensure effective organizational within the workplace.
